If the Mazda MX5 is your passion, you should join your local Club as well. We are arguably the largest single marque car club in the country, and we are growing every week.

This website caters for two levels of membership

• Membership of the MX5 Register (free)
• Membership of the Mx5 Owners Club of SA ( annual subscription)

Membership of the  MX5 community and the Register is free but not that of the Owners Club of SA.

To Join the MX5 Register is easy. Just click on the Register button ( Top Right Corners of the Home page) and follow the instructions.

HOW TO JOIN the Owners Club is covered under the menu item Membership but only after you have registered

 We love to talk about our cars almost as much as we love to drive them.

Join The Register

We have almost 200 MX5’s on our Register and this is a database of cars.

 It is without doubt true that cars on the Register command a price premium.

It gives owners priority access to our Open events and access to our Mx5 regalia.

It gives Register members extended access to the website knowledge base and matters such as Insurance 

It is a prerequisite to joining the Owners Club

Join the Owners Club

Membership in the MX5 Owners Club allows you to learn more about your MX5, join us on regular outings and adventures, and take advantage of our preferential low insurance rates for Classic and collectable cars. Our monthly MX5 Events are a great place to discuss services, performance, modifications, or just to socialize with other members. Our annual Long-distance-away Event is not to be missed.

Membership fees are only R500.00 per annum per MX5 car for the year. 

If you don't live in Gauteng and wish to join the Owners Club, Country Membership is available for only  R 300 per year

You are welcome to come and join us at an MX5 Event (usually the first Sunday of every month). You won’t be disappointed!

All members have one thing in common - the enjoyment of owning and driving a Mazda MX5.

About The Owners Club

 We have a dynamic and enthusiastic committee in place since early 2022 and are keen to advance members' benefits as a first priority.

We hold at least 10 Closed Events( members Only) a year and 1 or 2 Open Events. Usually the First Sunday of Every month.

We aim to hold at least one long-distance overnight event per year and a track day.

Benefits include a Valuation Certificate for Insurance purposes and the annual renewal thereof.

Mazda South Africa has resumed their support of the MX5 Owners Club .
